Sailing Info

As customers of Sail Orkney, you will get automatic membership to the Orkney Sailing Club and the use of it's facilities whilst you are sailing in Orkney. The Club has some excellent information for cruising visitors regarding weather, tides etc. To find out more, visit:

Getting Here

Getting to Orkney is easy: There are daily flights to Kirkwall (Orkney) Airport from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness; all connecting with the major airports in England. Ferries operate from Aberdeen, Scrabster, Gills Bay and John O'Groats on the Scottish Mainland.
