Built to
a Holman and Pye design in 1978 she is classed as a 'performance
family cruiser' and compared with many modern designs is extremely
capable in a seaway.
Nereides
has undergone substantial upgrading in recent years, fitted
out to MCA standards including a new engine and is good all
round condition. She employs GPS navigation, wind, depth and
log nstruments. The slab reefed main, furling genoa with all
lines led aft permits easy short handed control.
She has
a twin fore cabin and two single berths in the saloon with
loads of storage space. The large aft cockpit is deep and
comfortable with tiller and auto helm steering.
